Ipe

Ipe, also known as Brazilian Walnut, comes from the tropical Americas.  Its color can range from a yellowish brown to a red brown as well as darker stripes.  Ipe is a dense wood and is therefore generally difficult to work with.  It is often used for handles and other turned objects.
