Oak is a traditional domestic hardwood from Eastern & Northeastern United States and Southeastern Canada. We carry both Red Oak and White Oak, as well as quarter sawn. Oak has a straight grain and is very porous. It is moderately easy to work with and is great for cabinets, furniture, flooring, and other project crafts. Janka Hardness: 1220 - 1350
