Mahogany (Genuine/Honduran)

Honduran or Genuine Mahogany is found from Southern Mexico to Central South America.  It's color ranges from a pale pink/brown to a darker reddish brown.  Mahogany is generally easy to work with.  It turns, glues, and finishes well.  Mahogany is a multi use wood and is common in boatbuilding, furniture, cabinets, and turning.  Janka Hardness: 900
