Bubinga

Bubinga is native to Equatorial Africa. It has a wide variety of reddish hues with figuring and dark streaks. Bubinga is generally easy to work with, but highly figured grains can produce tearout.  Glueing can sometimes be difficult.  It is great for turning and finishes well.  Bubinga is often used for veneer, furniture, cabinets, and many other craft projects.
