Chakte Viga is a beautiful orange hued wood that comes from the tropical regions of Mexico and Central America.  It has variations in color from a bright orange to a golden brown. It is a relatively easy wood to work with despite its density.  Chakte Viga is can be used for furniture and flooring as well as turning.  It also works well as an accent in smaller craft projects.
